This YouTube video is not only an extremely effective election ad (far better than that embarrassing Harold Ford smearjob crap), it's also a great example of how YouTube is providing a platform for anybody to broadcast their creative take on the political process, and in so doing join it. With 42,439 views and counting, the video has been picked up in the blogosphere (well, the link has - YouTube doesn't have a metric that shows how many blogs embed the video). As in the blogosphere, quality tends to attract eyeballs, and this clip does an incredible job of re-interpreting the song "Freedom" by George Michael in its application to the Bush administration. (Seriously, you won't even notice the absence of semi-naked supermodels). As one of the 287 commenters said: "So simple, so effective. God Bless Final Cut." Amen.

Update: This is the only video uploaded by poster MGarthoff, and he's added a better version here, with 36,463 views and 207 comments, including this gem: "Makes me wish I could vote twice. Like the Republicans." Hey, Ken Blackwell, don't shoot the messenger.
