The president's new nickname: 'I'm the commander guy' Raw
Story President Bush gave himself a new nickname today: The "commander guy." At a speech to the Associated General Contractors of America, Bush, who last year described himself as "the decider," coined a new nickname. "The question is, 'Who ought to make that decision, the Congress or the commanders?'" Bush told the crowd. "As you know, my position is clear – I'm the commander guy." Given his recent veto of legislation that would enact timetables in Iraq, the New York Times' political blog, "The Caucus" quipped that perhaps another nickname could be "the veto man." ---------------------------------------------------
