Mexican soldiers shot dead for not cleaning up A Mexican soldier shot dead two subordinates for refusing an order to clean up their base on the country's Caribbean coast, a police spokesman said on Monday. Alonso German was taken into military custody after shooting the two on Friday night at the army base near the resort of Cancun, said local police spokesman Angel Lopez. He said he did not know what ranks the soldiers held.
