US admits being influenced by Zionist lobby The ongoing IAEA Board of Directors meeting focusing on Iran's nuclear program started in Vienna on Monday afternoon while the US administration officially admitted that its attempts against Iran were under the influence of the Zionist lobby. The 11-page report on Iran's nuclear issue released by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei, which has been submitted to the Board of Governors members, will be high on the agenda of the meeting currently underway. Voice of America declared a few hours prior to the session that Iran has warned that if the UN Security Council acts against its nuclear program, the uranium enrichment process will be resumed on a larger scale. The radio broadcast added, "US Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton announced at the meeting of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) that Washington will not rely upon the UNSC for counteracting in this regard and will not wait for its relevant decisions. "Bolton said that if Iran does not respond
to our calls, it will face its terrible consequences." The annual meeting of the Zionists lobby held as the American Israel Public Affairs Committee dubbed `Joint challenges against Israel and US' opened on Sunday. According to the released reports, as a partner in drawing up the US policy, at this year's meeting, AIPAC attempts to attract more support from Washington. A lecturer speaking at the meeting said that depriving Iran of access to nuclear weapons is one of the principles of the US policies. Meanwhile, the remarks of Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani on Sunday are still on the top of the news releases of foreign media. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), which attempts to globalize Iran's nuclear issue through propaganda, said that the international efforts to prevent Iran's access to nuclear weapons are approaching a sensitive point. In a controversial move, quoting an American physics specialist, BBC attributed Iran's progress in the nuclear field to its access to the relevant technology, which can be a cause for the concern of other countries. "Iran is still facing major problems in implementing and running a complete centrifuge network. The potential of making centrifuge in itself cannot guarantee the success of Iran's enrichment process," added the radio broadcast. Concerning Washington's policies, VOA said on Sunday night that the IAEA meeting is held in Vienna while all evidences show that Iran's nuclear dossier will be reported to the UNSC and the likely sanctions against the country. About the IAEA counteraction against Iran at Monday
meeting, the radio broadcast said, "To the best of our knowledge,
no resolution is expected to be released against Iran at the Vienna
board of directors meeting. Rather ElBaradei's report criticizing its
nuclear program will be reported to the UNSC." This is while most of international media reported Sunday night and today that Iran still hopes that its nuclear dossier will remain on the IAEA agenda. The media take into consideration Larijani's emphasis that Iran will not surrender its right for research and development in the nuclear sector and that reporting the relevant dossier to the UNSC will just increase the current difficulties facing the involved parties. Various news resources have reported that Iran is trying all peaceful paths to eliminate the present worries of the international community, adding that however, it will resist despotism and irrational desires of the world powers. IRNA reporter in Vienna said that the nuclear dossier is likely to be examined at the Board of Governors's Wednesday session. The foreign media have underlined that Iran is reluctant to compromise on its nuclear program, adding that it is also prepared for confrontation. Agence France Press (AFP) quoting the head of Iran's
delegation to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Javad Vaidi,
on the eve of the board of governors meeting said, "We are here
to find a compromise .. which means we have to calm things down."
Vaidi noted that reporting the case to the UNSC is neither in the interest of Iran nor that of the partners involved in it. "It is not in anyone's interest to turn this
