Pre-emptive strike plan alarms S Korea South Korea has accused Japan of acting recklessly and obstructing peace on the Korean Peninsula after Japan suggested the possibility of pre-emptive strikes against North Korean missile sites. Japan's chief Cabinet secretary called for military action to be considered if there was no other way of stopping an attack from North Korea. South Korea has reacted with fury and alarm to the suggestion. A presidential spokesman says it brings back memories of Japan's colonial aggression in the last century and would obstruct peace on the peninsula and in the region. South Korea is concerned hardliners in Japan are taking advantage of the missile launches to strengthen their own position and the country's defences. --------------------------------------------------- Prison Planet.tv: The Premier Multimedia Subscription Package: Download and Share the Truth!
