friendly wink and a wave is usually a good welcoming gesture,
particularly when the recipient is your newly-elected President.
However it cost one band-member his place in a band after
he was caught tipping his head in the direction of Barack
Obama during his inauguration celebrations in Washington last
week.
Ohio firefighter John Coleman, Drum Major of the Cleveland Firefighter's Memorial Pipes & Drums, has been given a six-month suspension from his role in a pipe and drum band after CNN caught him giving the nod along with a fleeting wave.
