| The Thought Police at Cafe Press feel that truth is offensive. Many family members of the victims of 9/11 are raising similar issues to those on the T-shirt in federal courts across the country. Censoring this T-shirt is an insult to those who lost their lives. It is apparant that a few tattle-tale police state worshippers called Cafe Press and complained about the T-shirt. These people make my stomach turn. Cafe Press sell T-shirts showing uncensored female genitals without shame and yet ban a political T-shirt. If this evidence is offensive, using that twisted rationale every MAINSTREAM news outlet that reported it should also be censored. Let's take a look. - Hijackers trained at US air bases: Reported by Newsweek - Pensacola News Journal - Washington Post - Hijackers followed out of country by CIA, allowed back in by State Department: Reported by Newsweek - Numerous warnings from worldwide intelligence agencies of an impending attack: Reported by AFP - Associated Press - London Telegraph - Numerous others - CIA meeting with bin Laden in July 2001: Reported by United Press International - London Evening Standard - Bush ordered the FBI to "back off investigation of Al-Qaeda: Reported by Times of India - BBC - ABC News - NORAD stand-down allowed hijackers to hit their targets: Reported by Associated Press Unprecedented insider trading on United and American Airlines days preceding 9/11: Reported by Reuters - London Independent - Newsmax SHOULD ALL THESE NEWS AGENCIES ALSO BE BANNED FOR REPORTING 'OFFENSIVE CONTENT'? Please help me by sending an E mail to supervisor@cafepress.com. Tell them in your own words how disgusted you are at this blatant Big Brother action. We need to stand up now before more outlets of free speech get shut down. If Cafe Press don't reinstate the product I will organize a wider boycott. You can send your comments and any information about Cafe Press to paul@propagandamatrix.com. Thank you for your support. Paul Joseph Watson. Your E Mails To Cafe Press: Keep 'Em Coming! "As a a veteran, who fought for my country, I am astounded that your organization UNILATERALLY decided to ban the Propaganda T-shirt. Have you ever heard of the Freedom of Speech section in the First Amendment? Who pressured you in this action? Remember the Nixon White House pulled some sneaky things and look where it land them? The contents contained on the T-shirt were quotes from reputable news journals, so why was this shirt banned. You certainly have no trouble selling T-shirts with pornographic designs, but are "troubled" by this free speech statement! Are you under the control of those in this administration who LIED about going to war in Iraq?" ---------------------- "I am an attorney based in Chicago. I don't presently represent anyone regarding the contents of this note, and what is reflected here are just my own personal reactions. I am a former custeromer of cafe press, having at least once placed a significant order for apparel sponsored by a Catholic Benedictine Monastery that had large images of the Jubilee Medal of St. Benedict. For what it's worth, you folks kind of garbled the order up, failed to tell me about the glitches, the order had to be redone, the friend in question didn't get these things, intended as birthday presents, in time, and the whole thing was a mess. April, 2002. It was one of the worst telephone order experiences I've ever had, requiring large amounts of time to place the order, and two further calls to get it all straightened out after the birthday passed. Still, I would have given you a second chance. Now, however, I've learned that you are refusing to produce and sell a politically-oriented T-shirt issued by Propaganda Matrix relating to government complicity in 9/11. It's your right to do that. However, I really can't understand any decent reason why you would do that, and such a decision seems to run contrary to important American values encouraging the an open and unimpeded free marketplace of ideas. Please tell me why you have made this decision. Please tell me whether you made this decision as a result of threats, thinly veiled or otherwise, anonymous or otherwise. If you have been subject to that, I will view you as a victim and react quite differently than I am now inclinded to see you. But if this is just a result of your own self-made policies and decisions without pressure or undue influence, I believe that you should bear the consequences of such a policy, and my thought is that the Internet community which supports you deserves to know about your attitudes toward controversial political speech. To that end, I would write an article for publication in the national media and give attention to your decision on my own websites. This is not a threat of any boycott. I would simply tell the world about your decision. I do look forward to your response." ---------------------- "Practically everything this site reports, has been linked to major newspaper links or other various news agencies. The truth hurts doesn't it. If it wasn't for sites such as this on the Internet, all people would continue to be "brainwashed" by the so-called mainstream media outlets, who serve as nothing more than mouthpieces for the current corrupt government. I find it amazing that you are into censorship of the truth, but not of apparently things that illustrate female genitalia. Now that is offensive and pornographic to say the least. Expect a possible organized boycott in the future of your products! Companies like yours are reprehensible and a real threat to freedom of speech and rights in this country!" ---------------------- "I have bought a few t-shirts from Cafe Press. I am amazed that you have seen fit to ban the 9-11 shirt. You seem to sell other controversail shirts without a problem. This administration is the worst and scariest ever. People deserve to know the truth about the possible government complicity in the 9-11 attacks!!! If people really know how this administration has created a police state, an environmental catastrope, massive unemployment, tax cuts for the rich, and general abolishment of civil rights, etc, etc, et al, then just maybe they would WAKE UP and get rid of Bush and Co. cronies. I hope that you reconsider and that you sell this t-shirt! I will not purchase another thing from Cafe Press until you do." ---------------------- "Hi Paul - they banned us too. The strange thing was that we said "please tell us which images you find offensive and we will change them". They played around for a period of time but never did get back to us and never did ship the orders that we had even though they got PAID for them. Who else do you know besides us and yourselves have been banned? Please let me know and we will publish something one it. Who are these guys anyway and where do they get off taking the law into their own hands?" Bruce Kennedy, Editor in Chief, Jihad Unspun. ---------------------- "I have been a customer of Cafe Press for several years now and I am appalled that I now find out that your company is censoring it's clientele. Unless I hear from Propaganda Matrix that there has been a reversal in your decision to print the design that has been banned, I will no longer purchase anything from your company. As an American patriot, I cannot support the censorship of ideas in our country, and I find this offensive." ----------------------- "You people at CafePress.com better immediately send and publicize an abject apology to the good people of the once great U.S.A. who believe in the first amendment and know from whenceth cameth that splendid gift of freedom. I just feel absolutely disgusted with your company for doing this. This is such an egregious action on your part that if you do not take immediate action to try to make things right, it is only right and good and just that your company be blown off the map by lack of customers. I hope Mr. Watson will publicize the names of the owners of your company so that we can make sure we never have anything to do with any of your future schemes. Companies like yours make me ashamed utterly ashamed. Shame on you. You have no right to fly the American flag. You have by your action turned yourselves into another great big very ugly lie." ---------------------- "I can't belive you people actually censored a t-shirt because Karl Rove (or one of his minions) started a letter campagin claiming they were offended. Remove me from your e-mail list as I will no longer be shopping through your online store. I thought you people were pretty decient but I guess I was wrong." |

| UPDATE: A VICTORY FOR THE 1ST AMENDMENT THANKS TO YOUR ACTIVISM! CAFE PRESS BACKS DOWN, REINSTATES BANNED 9/11 T-SHIRT Without responding to any of the complaints, Cafe Press today re-instated the Government Sponsored Terror T-shirt they had previously censored. Thanks so much for all your support, you really made the difference. The original story appears below. You can now buy the T-shirt and wear the 1st Amendment proudly and wake up others by clicking here. Cafe Press sent the same reply to everyone who complained. They stated, "Thank you for contacting CafePress.com! We greatly appreciate your feedback regarding the store in question. Due to a mistake on our end the item in question was temporarily unavailable. However, the image has now been reinstated and is available for purchase. Your patience and consideration regarding this matter are greatly appreciated." Of course, the item wasn't unavailable due to a 'mistake' - a caller tried to order the item and they told him straight that it was censored because they thought it was 'offensive'. The bottom line is that free speech wins the battle. Cafe Press Censor Propaganda Matrix T-shirt For 'Offensive Content' The truth is offensive in a society controlled by Thought Police Cafe Press.com, the online distributor which allows people to design their own T-shirts has banned a Propaganda Matrix.com T-shirt which lists evidence that the US government was involved in the 9/11 attacks. The images were censored due to 'offensive content'. The T-shirt still remains online but there is no purchase option. When a Propaganda Matrix.com fan called Cafe Press to try and order the T-shirt he was told that the item was discontinued "because people found it offensive." "My heart sunk. I felt very let down," said Mike Barry. |
