In an interview for BBC HARDtalk, Ken O' Keefe, American peace activist talks to Tim Sebastian.
As war against Iraq seems to be edging closer, former US Marine, Ken O'Keefe is leading a group of westerners to Iraq to position themselves as "human shields" against an American led attack.
A veteran of the Gulf War himself, Ken O'Keefe plans to make his way across Europe, recruiting volunteers enroute.
He claims to have recruited as many as 500 anti-war campaigners who are prepared to put themselves in danger.
Tim Sebastian asks him why he feels so strongly about this, and how effective he thinks they can be.
