First Minister Jack McConnell has said
up to 10,000 police officers could be called in for the G8 summit. He confirmed
all police leave had been cancelled and officers would respond to security
requirements at the time.

Okay, so we know now that the Bush administration
has been using all kinds of devious means to push propaganda on the American
public-fake news generated by the Pentagon for overseas, and ultimately, courtesy
of blowback, U.S. consumption.

It's not just at Abu Ghraib anymore!

The actions of the Russian authorities are increasingly similar to the actions
of Mussolini in the 1920s and 1930s, former CIA chief James Woolsey told Russia’s
Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper ahead of the Bratislava summit.

At the very least this again 'pours cold water' on the
argument that the temperatures were enough to melt steel when this and other
videos show people unaffected by the heat.
