Kill Switch Bill Moves Closer To Senate Vote
An Internet kill switch bill that would give President Obama the power
to shut down parts of the world wide web for a period of at least four
months without congressional oversight has moved closer to a Senate
vote, with one of its primary advocates, Democratic co-chairman of the
House Cybersecurity Caucus Jim Langevin, threatening a "cyber-9/11"
if the legislation is not quickly passed.
