Rep. Ron Paul's presidential campaign says he's still on a fundraising roll.

Last week there was the news that Paul had set a one-day Internet record by raising about $4.2 million in 24 hours.

Today, the Republican congressman's campaign said it has hauled in another $1 million in the past week from 12,000 additional contributors (which averages to about $83 per donor).

The Paul campaign says it is on track to raise $12 million this quarter.

For comparison purposes: The candidates who have been raising the most money -- Democratic senators Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama -- collected $27 million and $20 million, respectively, in the third quarter.
