New Zorro Movie Has Secret Societies Theme Prison Planet | November 23 2005 From a reader..... I saw the new Zorro movie over the past weekend
and while I delighted is the swashbuckling adventures of my favorite
freedom fighter I was somewhat in awe as to the actual plot of the movie.
To make this brief, Zorro clashes head to head with the members of an
ancient Elite Aristocratic secret society bent on uniting the entire
globe under their moniker. The specific name of their Mystical Order
might as well have been called "Knights of the Order of the Serpent".
You It gets better. As it turns out, the Knights of the Serpent had been behind all of the wars of recent past and plotted to create a dividing war in the "New Americas", a Civil War you might say. California was set to join the Union a strong America would threaten the Power the Knights already wielded no doubt thru their Private Corporate banking system. The Knights, with the help of the new sciences of chemistry and a crooked Confederate Admiral, created a new explosive weapon 10 times more powerful than dynamite. Nitro glycerine was negotiated to be delivered to the Confederate South to ensure a war would erupt and cast the Americas in turmoil. After all, as the Knights boasted, a country gripped in Civil war would be far to distracted to see the truth. Fortunately, movie goers were put at ease once again to know that a lone hero would thwart their evil plans. No need for them to get involved, one person will save them all. I could go on for hours how movies are nothing more than conditioning tools to reinforce inactivity, but you already know that. This theme, Elite Societies bent on conquering the world with wars they create is bountiful in movies. It's about to get even more so. I know of 6 projects that are up and coming to a theatre near you that will hold similar themes V for Vendetta will be a big one. V is based off a comic book written by Alan Moore and the hero dons a mask fashioned after the likeness of Guy Fawkes, and while he fights for the freedom of his fellow Britons, the result will be the same... I think we will see a growing trend in entertainment as a whole until the point when the person next to me simply says "Pshaw, Elite secret societies that's in that one movie, it's not really happening!" Thanks Hollywood you sell outs. Your helping to kill off the very audience you depend on for your own livelihood. Hollywood's gross ticket sales were down (I think) 23% of last year and they all scratch their heads wondering "Why?". |
