Bush - Kennedy - McCain Bill Rewards Criminals John Bender The Bush-Kennedy-McCain illegal alien bill that was written behind closed doors out of sight of the people or most of their representatives went to the Senate floor today. This proposed bill is not just a slap in the face of every legal resident of the U.S., it spits in the face of every would-be legal resident who is abiding by our laws and waiting in line to come here legally. Bush, Kennedy, McCain and the rest of the pro-criminal cabal are telling people in places like Africa, Asia, and elsewhere, they are suckers for abiding by our laws, waiting years and spending thousands of dollars to come here legally. They are announcing o the world that we prefer to have scofflaws and criminals come here than law abiding people who respect our laws and play by the rules. The Bush-Kennedy-McCain plan would reward the scofflaws who break our laws to come here and once here break our laws by working illegally as well as in numerous other ways such as using false identity papers. It would let the people who broke into the country stay here. Their plan also rewards these criminals with a special visa that allows them to come and go as they please, work legally, collect Social Security, and buy property. Meanwhile, the Bush-Kennedy-McCain apologists and spin machine are trying to tell the people of the United States that the scofflaws will have to go to the back of the line. Well, that’s a load of crap. The line they are talking about is the line to become citizens. The scofflaws will go behind the law abiding immigrants who are here legally, BUT, they will be pushed AHEAD of the millions of law abiding people in line to come here as legal resident aliens. The so called “Z” visa this pro-criminal bill would use to reward the law breakers gives the scofflaws the exact same rights and privileges as a “Green Card” gives law abiding immigrants. If this pro-criminal bill passes, the scoff laws go to the head of the long, long, line of people waiting to get into the country. Ask people waiting in Ethiopia, Eritrea, Somalia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Madagascar, or scores of other countries if they would give up any chance of citizenship to get one of the “Z” visas.
According to the Pew Hispanic Center more than 90% of the Mexican, Central and South American, illegal aliens here, left jobs to come here. They were working. They weren’t starving, or facing genocide, like people elsewhere who would like to come here. They decided to become criminals for the same reason most home grown criminals choose to become criminals: to earn more money than they can make on a legal job. Of course, the Bush-Kennedy-McCain pro-criminal bill doesn’t just reward the illegal alien scofflaws. It also rewards the criminal businesses who employed them and gives them amnesty for their crimes as well. The criminal employers used the scofflaws to drive down wages. They pitted the scofflaws against both legal resident aliens and citizens to make jobs that were once good paying middle class jobs low paying dead-end jobs. Jobs that once allowed black Americans, low income whites, and new immigrants, to move into the middle class, now pay less than a middle class income. The least educated among us suffered the most. They will also be hurt most if this pro-criminal amnesty passes into law. It’s time to let citizens and legal alien residents profit from our good economy. It’s time to reward law abiding citizens and legal resident aliens with raises and a path to the middle class rather than rewarding criminals for breaking our laws. It’s time to stand up to Bush, Kennedy, McCain, and the rest of the pro-criminal lobby, and tell them to stick their amnesty bill where the sun doesn’t shine. It’s time to demand our politicians enforce our laws and reward people who abide by the law and who play by the rules. We don’t want them to reward illegal aliens or criminal employers. ---------------------------------------------------
