Demonstrators carrying a flag have tried to disrupt Olympic torch-lighting ceremony in the ancient site of Olympia.

The protesters struck during the speech of Beijing Games organising chief Liu Qi.

They were led away by police before he was able to continue his speech.

Now underway, the torch will travel on a five month journey concluding at the Games' opening ceremony on August 8.
