Iran's top legislative body is ready to recount specific presidential election ballot boxes, state TV has reported - after vote-rigging claims sparked 'deadly' clashes.
Guardian Council spokesman Abbas Ali Kadkhodaei reportedly said any checks would be limited to voting sites where candidates claim irregularities occurred.
The body was also quoted as saying a recount of Friday's poll may lead to a change in President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Mirhossein Mousavi's tallies.

The president's landslide victory spurred tens of thousands of his rival's supporters to protest in Tehran.
But violence erupted during a rally on Monday and seven people are said to have died.
State-run Radio Payam announced: "Several thugs wanted to attack a military post and vandalise public property in the vicinity of Azadi Square.
