North Valley To Consider Surveillance Cameras In The City

ABC
Wednesday June 6, 2007

Livingston City Council Members are holding a special forum Tuesday night to discuss a proposal to wire the city with digitial video cameras.

Livingston's police chief made the suggestion as a way to cut down on crime and help with investigations.
The City's Mayor says the cameras would only be installed in public places like school campuses and local parks.

The council will not vote on the proposal, the meeting is just a chance for residents to ask questions and make comments about the cameras.
