London Guardian | June 16 2006

A woman has been charged with sending packages containing sugar and weedkiller to 10 Downing Street marked for the attention of Tony Blair, his wife, Cherie, and their son Euan last year.
Shirley Freed, 72, is also accused of sending letters containing white powder to the health secretary, Patricia Hewitt, and the senior Labour MP Ann Clwyd.

Scotland Yard said Ms Freed, from Littlehampton in West Sussex, was charged with offences under the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 when she answered bail yesterday. She is due to appear before magistrates in Brighton on June 29.
