A Brit, who claims to have been tortured in the United Arab Emirates, said he has fresh evidence showing that British security services were involved, a newspaper said Monday.
Alam Ghafoor claims he was dragged out of a restaurant during a business trip with his business partner to Dubai, detained and tortured following the London bombings in July 2005, the Guardian said.
Ghafoor claims he and his business partner were deprived of sleep, subjected to stress positions and told they would be killed and fed to dogs.
While in detention, Ghafoor, from Huddersfield, said he was shown a photograph and told that he resembled one of the London suicide bombers.
