| Dozens of Veterans To Join Ron Paul For ‘Stronger America’ Rally Business
Wire Tonight at 7pm, Texas Congressman Ron Paul will hold a rally in Des Moines where he is set to discuss his foreign policy for a stronger America with a large group of veterans. “Dr. Paul, a veteran himself, has a 30-year record, of standing up for veterans,” said campaign spokesman Jesse Benton. “Congressman Paul advocates a stronger America by emphasizing military readiness, secure borders, and the use of our troops only to defend America’s national security – never for nation-building or peacekeeping under the UN flag.” Dr. Paul has received a flood of endorsements from veterans since the campaign started its “Yes! I endorse Ron Paul” section on the campaign website (www.RonPaul2008.com/veterans) in mid-December. The number of veterans who have endorsed Congressman Paul has now swelled to more than 350.
Ronald Reagan – who knew a patriot when he saw one – also praised Ron Paul for his commitment to a strong national defense. Once saying: “Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first.” The event will be at 7 p.m. CST in the Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Fort Des Moines.
