US Air Force censors blogs

THE US Air Force has declared a no-fly zone over independent sites with the world 'blog' in the web address.

According to Wired, the move has happened since the Air Force's Air Force Network Operations Center's new Cyber Command was established.

The command allows Air Force personal to see primary news sites but not the bogs that comment on them.

The sites are blocked using Blue Coat software using a policy that blocks first and then allows a review later.

Some airmen have been saying that educational databases and some work-related sites are also getting blocked. µ
