Pat Robertson Partners With Porn Publishers to Produce and Distribute Children's Videos

Raiders News Update | December 10 2004

Christian Broadcasting Network Founder and Chairman Pat Robertson signed a deal recently with Anchor Bay Entertainment, a subsidiary of IDT Entertainment, to produce and distribute children and family films.

Most church goers do not know that Anchor Bay is one of the primary distributors of soft porn 'B' movies such as the schlock film "Vampyres" and that IDT Entertainment, a company founded by Orthodox Jewish Philanthropist Howard Jones, made its name over the years hosting x-rated adult websites.

In August, Anchor Bay also began work with NestFamily Entertainment to distribute "The Animated Passion," a cartoon spinoff of Mel Gibson's controversial film about the crucifixion of Christ. The animated version depicts Jewish Rabbis calling for Jesus to die, a strange partnership when one considers that IDT is a kosher company and that only a few months ago many in the Jewish community were angry with Gibson for his film.

On the advertising page where the company features "The Animated Passion," a second plug promotes the R-rated horror flick "Dawn of the Dead," where we read, "When there's no more room in hell... the dead return to DVD."

The dead return to DVD!?

Ahh. Movie sales = $$$.

I get it now, it's not about spreading the Gospel.
