Media Freaks Out After Man Filmed Carrying Legal Firearm Outside Obamacare Event

The establishment media are frothing over video footage of a man carrying a gun at an Obamacare protest, eagerly citing it as proof that anti-government demonstrators are violent extremists, despite the fact that open carry is completely legal in New Hampshire.

Earlier suggestions that the man may have been a federal agent because he was wearing an earpiece were ruled out after Gary Franchi, managing editor of Republic Magazine, told us that the protester was a member of the Free State Project organization.

MSNBC filmed the man with the weapon and a sign proclaiming: “It’s time to water the tree of liberty,” a reference to Thomas Jefferson’s “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”

The government has a long and sordid history of using agents provocateurs to delegitimize grassroots political movements. Discrediting Obama’s totalitarian health care plan is no exception, but in this instance the man was merely exercising his legal right to open carry.

The MSNBC anchors in the clip are aghast that a mere slave – and not a super-human police officer – might be allowed to carry a firearm in public, despite the fact that New Hampshire is an open carry state – it is perfectly legal to carry a loaded firearm in public provided the owner has a permit.

The MSNBC host Carlos Watson - who yesterday bizarrely claimed that anti-Obamacare protesters were using the political term “socialist” as a secret code for the n-word, even calls on lawyers to overturn the right to open carry on the spot merely because Lord Obama is coming to town.

MSNBC has acted as Obama’s attack dog over the last week as popular opposition to Obama’s draconian health care plan gains momentum. In particular, MSNBC hosts have repeatedly claimed opposition to Obamacare is racist. Chris Matthews went so far as to say opponents should be strapped down in gurneys and injected with sodium pentathol so they admit they are racists. Matthews talked with Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta-Journal Constitution who said “45 to 65% of the people who appear at these groups are people who will never be comfortable with the idea of a black president.”

Of course, the fact that Obama was a mixed-race child born of a white mother and raised by white grandparents in a privileged white upper class environment is hastily sidestepped when the establishment media plays the race card at every turn.

Obama’s commissariat will use the incident as a way to conflate opposition to Obamacare with potential violence on the part of “rightwing extremists,” as defined by the Department of Homeland Security.

We saw the exact same tactics employed during the early 1990’s when the patriot movement was growing in leaps and bounds, culminating in the government groomed patsy Timothy McVeigh bombing the Alfred P. Murrah building, an event that handed the state free reign to demonize opponents of President Bill Clinton as domestic terrorists.

Don’t put it past this government to stage a false flag using a ‘Marinus van der Lubbe’ type character, or a manufactured lone nut patsy, in order to quell the legitimate outrage spreading across the country like wildfire.
