Bill O'Reilly In Rosie Overdrive News
hounds Bill O'Reilly is a man on a mission for sure and he will not rest until Rosie O'Donnell, ABC and Disney are sufficiently punished. Viewers were treated to four segments on the subject tonight and although he claimed there is no feud between himself and O'Donnell, his attitude was far from friendly calling her Tokyo Rosie. Disney also took some serious heat and there could be a shipment of Boycott Magic Kingdom bumper stickers in the works. However, it became clear that O'Reilly is crossing over into Dick Morris territory during his segment with Dave Zeeck, Tacoma News-Tribune Terry Keenan and Charles Payne came on to discuss Corporate America and the ideological war which turned out to be all about Rosie O'Donnell. ABC and Disney. Terry Keenan made some very good points that did not please O'Reilly. She didn't think O'Donnell would be dropped claiming that Rosie was popular with daytime viewers. Keenan explained that O'Donnell talks about controversial things about 5% of the time and devotes the rest to things like " decoupage and kids." Charles Payne was more helpful to BOR's cause calling Rosie " mean spirited" which gave O'Reilly a chance to list all nthe ways she is mean spirited. Payne was finally convinced to say he would fire her if he were CEO after Bill bullied him with " Come on! " when he hesitated too long. Dave Zeeck, Tacoma New-Tribune was booked to discuss his belief that there is no liberal bias in the media. Zeeck seemed like a well balanced, pragmatic person who wasn't at all flustered by O'Reilly. Zeeck probably didn't realize beforehand that his segment was going to be all about Rosie O'Donnell and Ann Coulter. O'Reilly was all miffed because the MSM villified Coulter for calling John Edwards a faggot but hasn't said anything about O'Donnell's comments. It took Zeeck a few seconds to figure out what BOR was talking about and then claimed he hadn't noticed a difference in coverage. Zeeck made it clear that he didn't think it mattered either.O'Reilly got annoyed with Zeeck's insistance that he saw no liberal bias in print media. When Zeeck calmly suggested he was confusing editorials with news, it was bye bye Zeeck. Then when it seemed there was nothing left to say and one more mention of O'Donnell would be way too much, he did it again with the Most Ridiculous Item of the Day. This carried over into the e-mail segment where every single e-mail was Rosie related and 98% negative. comment: When I heard that Dennis Miller is scheduled for tommorrow night to talk about Rosie O'Donnell on The Factor, I wondered if he would consider doing an intervention with his old friend Bill. Seems like the time has come.
