Rove Testifying for 5th Time in CIA Leak Case A source close to top Bush adviser Karl Rove says Rove is testifying again before a federal grand jury investigating the leak of a CIA operative's identity. The source said Wednesday's appearance is the fifth time the political strategist has testified before the grand jury. The source said Rove is appearing voluntarily. Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff, Lewis Libby, has been indicted on five counts of perjury, obstruction of justice and lying to the FBI in the wake of the leak. Libby's trial is scheduled to begin in January 2007. A newspaper columnist in 2003 revealed the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame, shortly after Plame's husband publicly questioned President Bush's arguments for war in Iraq. The columnist said two administration officials identified Plame. It is a crime to knowingly reveal a CIA operative's identity. ---------------------------------------------------
