| Palin Makes Pakistan Terror Gaffe Sky
News Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin has said she supports US bombing raids inside Pakistan, after John McCain said the candidates should stay silent on the issue. McCain criticised his opponent Barack Obama during the first Presidential debate for saying that he would strike terror targets inside the country. He labelled the Democrat naive on foreign policy, telling him: "You don't say that out loud." But just days after the debate, McCain's own running mate said the same thing to voters in Pennsylvania. Chatting to a customer in a restaurant in the city of Philadelphia, Palin said: "If that's what we have to do to stop the terrorists from coming any further in, absolutely, we should." Her comments were captured on video and reported on CBS news. |
